JunoFest 2012

Some memories from Juno Weekend – March 30 to April 1, 2012…

Performing Friday night to a packed crowd at the Mercury Lounge in Ottawa:

Pictured below: album producer David Arcus, executive producer Greg da Silva and Aline Morales after the Juno Gala dinner, and maybe a bit too much wine….

This picture of Aline and producer David Arcus (below) was taken moments before Aline sent the whole backdrop crashing to the ground. Man I wish we had a shot of that!

Flores receives Juno Nomination!

We’re thrilled to announce that Flores, Tambores e Amores was nominated for a Juno award for World Music Album of the Year! The nominations were announced on Tuesday and we couldn’t be more honoured to be listed among such incredible Canadian acts. When we hunkered down in our basement studio with some of our talented and wonderful friends to record this album, we couldn’t have imagined that it would bring us here. Thanks so much to everyone who’s enjoyed the album, and everyone who’s supported us along the way. More to come!
